2021-06-18 08:11 CEST I see you are publishing in your tinylog, that's cool. Some tinylogs to follow if you are interested:

2021-06-17 09:28 CEST

I've removed the seconds in date format of tinylog

Commit on cockpit repo

2021-06-11 08:02:42 CEST Cool, your new version of lace works fine !

2021-06-08 16:15:42 CEST

Now, my tinylog use my time zone instead of UTC !

You're right but is an alias of and the tool I use automatically put the domain of the hosting platform. Maybe I should redirect to have a coherant environment and diffuse this address for my tinylog:

Testing new format for "author" header in tinylog

2021-06-07 11:36:10 UTC

@bacardi55 I also have a n account on

Source Hut

but we can also exchange through a different way (pastebin, etherpad, cryptpad...)

2021-06-07 08:58:12 UTC

Very good idea @bacardi55 or maybe a simple howto or good practices. RFC writing is a hark task

Do you open a shared git repo on codeberg or anywhere else ?

2021-06-06 19:29:01 UTC

@guillaume if you want to mention someone in tinylog, please, use his/her author name with an @ (as I'm doing right now). It's easier to filter mention when you subscribe to many tinylogs ;-)

I would like to install my own mailbox but managing spam, trusting and messing with non standard big email provider is really boring. @szczezuja

2021-06-02 03:56:06 UTC

I start a new series of gemlog posts :

You deserve a space for free speech - part 1

2021-06-02 03:45:15 UTC

@szczezuja have you made a new choice about mailbox ? do you host your mail server or found another hosting service ? Thx for your feedback

2021-06-02 03:39:25 UTC

@bacardi55 proton bridge is reserved to paid accounts :-/

2021-06-01 17:51:17 UTC

I've forgotten that protonmail does not provide IMAP/SMTP access for free accounts... so I can't use aerc to read my emails.

Should I configure postfix/dovecot on πŸ€”

2021-06-01 07:57:29 UTC

@bacardi55 oh, I didn't know aerc, it seems easy to configure. I will will give it a try. Thanks

I would like to be able to "survive" with a very light machine, maybe without graphical interface (or just to see image when needed).

I already have some cool soft for that : bash (of course), byobu, toot, lynx, vim, av98...

I miss something for email: mutt seems complicated for me :-/

2021-05-30 12:33:30 UTC

You're right @frrobert author could be only the name... I had @ because, it could help new user to think to put something in a single word. author: Firstname Lastname would not work. Seeing @name is clear for new user to understand it could be used for reply. Both syntx sould be accepted

2021-05-28 06:18:56 UTC

Good idea @szczezuja to add license in tinylog header πŸ‘

2021-05-28 06:05:33 UTC

OK @frrobert @robert @bob as you can see, I don't really know which name to use to mention you because I don't know which work you will search ;-)

Maybe lace could be launched with a parameter : lace mentions @adele or lace cite @adele and filters as expected. I do it with my app :

Hey @szczezuja I like your tinylog header !
